Zurek and Kozicz Vanish

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Thomas Zurek mentioned that he three-bet jammed with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} into the ace-queen of Alessandro Toninello. Zurek spiked a king but Toninello rivered the ace-high straight.

The next player to depart from the same table was Victor Kozicz, who moved all in with a short stack from the button and was called by Nadir Molinari in the big blind.

Kozicz tabled the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Molinari had the {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}. The {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board sent the next player out as fewer than 300 hopefuls remain.

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ionut Dragomir
Ionut Dragomir

Ionut Dragomir raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and was called by Pavel Yakobson in the big blind. The latter check-called a bet of 5,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and the checked the {6-Clubs} turn. Yakobson then bet the {q-Clubs} river for 16,500 and Dragomir was curious enough to see the cards.

"Did you hit the queen?" he asked moments before tossing in calling chips.

Yakobson rolled over the {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a full house and big stack Dragomir mucked.

Hynes Busts Fernandes

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Manuel Fernandes open-shoved for 58,5000 and Aidan Hynes reshoved for a few big blinds more.

"What do you have when you raise kings before? A small pocket pair?" another player at the table asked and Fernandes nodded, turning over the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Hynes had that crushed with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and the board came {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to send Fernandes to the rail.

Nariman Yaghmai: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Sychov Doubles Through Martini

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Artur Sychov was all-in from the hijack and his stack was being counted while a raise of 23,000 was already sitting in front of Julien Martini in the small blind. The dealer confirmed Sychov had 67,500 in total. Martini tanked for a while, smiled, and then reluctantly made the call.

Artur Sychov: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Julien Martini: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts} to give Sychov a pair of kings immediately.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} to now also give Martini a pair but the river completed the board with the {6-Spades} for Sychov to secure the double-up.

Lahav Wins Without Showdown

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Anatolii Zyrin limped in and Alexander Fradlin raised to 13,000, which Doron Lahav from one seat over called. Zyrin made it three ways to the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and he checked as the first player to act. Fradlin continued for 16,000 and Lahav raised to 35,000.

Zyrin had as many chips behind and folded after a short consideration, and Fradlin also let go.
