Timergazin Felts Pawlenko

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Thierry Pawlenko was all in for around 21,000 and Roman Timergazin went all-in over the top from one seat over for 43,000 to force folds from all players behind.

Thierry Pawlenko: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Roman Timergazin: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

On a board of {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}, no ace from space saved Pawlenko and he headed to the rail. Their table broke right after as the field is now shrinking at a rapid pace with some 490 hopefuls remaining on Day 1b.

Burns Bows Out in Three-Way All-In

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Fabio Di Blasi opened the action with a raise to 4,000 and Jan Smidrkal shoved for 12,000. Padraig Burns reshipped for some 37,800 and Di Blasi quickly called.

Jan Smidrkal: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Padraig Burns: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Fabio Di Blasi: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Burns asked for an ace but his wish was denied on a board of {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}, as Smidrkal tripled up and Di Blasi won the side pot to make a profit during the hand.

Paris Gets Value From Ho

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Bence Paris and Man Tsun Ho headed to the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and checked through to see the {9-Clubs} turn, on which Paris check-called a bet of 4,000. After the {9-Diamonds} river, Paris check-raised from 6,000 to 26,000 and Ho called after some consideration.

Paris rolled over the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and that won the pot.

"Nice hand," Ho said and tapped the table.

Kalfas Eliminates Szczytkowski

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Wojciech Szczytkowski shoved from the hijack for his last 7,500 or so and Stavros Kalfas decided to shove for more on the button for the blinds to fold.

Wojciech Szczytkowski: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Stavros Kalfas: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The flop came {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} for Kalfas to hit a Broadway immediately.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} for Szczytkowski to hit trips. A queen would split the pot but another ace, king, or ten or jack would give Szczytkowski the double-up.

The river completed the board with the {8-Diamonds} which wasn't what Szczytkowski needed as he was sent to the rail.
