Tuna Takes Ruida Out

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Akin Tuna and Bryn Kenney
Akin Tuna and Bryn Kenney

Dinesh Alt raised to 12,000 from under the gun and was called by Akin Tuna in the cutoff, and Lin Ruida and Mohamed Mokrani in the blinds.

The flop came {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}, it was checked to Tuna who bet 25,000. Ruida raised to 60,000. Mokrani folded and so did Alt. Tuna called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, Ruida bet 75,000 and Tuna called.

The river completed the board with the {j-Spades}, Ruida bet 75,000 and Tuna shoved with the bigger stack. Ruida sat up and looked over and then called for the 430,000 or so he had behind with {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for trip eights. Tuna had {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for the rivered full house to eliminate Ruida and to jump to the top of the counts.

Bryn Kenney turned around from his seat to congratulate Tuna.
