Having re-entered, Aditya Sushant has been making steady progress having had a tough time during his first bullet.

After Yuriy Chernenko opened from under the gun and got one caller, Sushant raised to 2,500 and Chernenko was the only caller.

Earlier the record of the 2018 EPT National here iN Sochi was beaten, and it didn't take long before the mark set yesterday in Day 1a was beaten with 250 players now having registered Day 1c.

Pugachev Binks His Double

On a {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} board, Alexey Pugachev moved all in and was called by an opponent who was the one at risk.

Pugachev held {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair and a flush draw, but was behind to his opponent's set of tens with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. The river {5-Clubs} was enough to complete Pugachev's flush and send his opponent to the rail at the start of the third level.

Lowe Forces Two Opponents Out

On a {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop Daniel Lowe and Cenk Suyabbatmaz checked to Vitaliy Avanesyan who bet 2,200.

Lowe then check-raised to 6,000 and Suyabatmaz quickly folded.

Avanesyan gave it some more thought but also folded and Lowe raked in the pot moving up to just under 40,000 in chips.
