Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 5,500 from the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo called on the button. Andras Nemeth raised to 20,000 and only Petrangelo called.

Nemeth continued for 12,000 on the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Petrangelo folded.

Petrangelo Folds Turn

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 4,000 and was called by Nick Petrangelo.

The flop {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} saw Petrangelo check-call 8,000. The turn was the {j-Hearts}. Petrangelo checked and Dvoress bet again for 20,000.

Petrangelo used a time extension before folding.

Dvoress Busts Gierse

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Marius Gierse
Marius Gierse

Stephen Chidwick opened to 4,500 from early position and Johan Guilbert called on the button.

Marius Gierse jammed for 55,000 from the small blind. Daniel Dvoress then moved all-in for around 85,000 from the big blind. The remaining players folded to set up a showdown.

Marius Gierse: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Dvoress made a set and Gierse paired up on the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop. Gierse was drawing dead on the {8-Spades} turn. The {6-Diamonds} river completed the board to leave the field with just six players.

Dvoress Pays Off Guilbert

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 5,000 and Johan Guilbert called in the big blind. The flop was {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Guilbert check-called 9,000.

The turn {5-Clubs} went check-check and the river was the {10-Spades}.

Guilbert put out a small bet of 5,500 and Dvoress called. The Frenchman turned over {9-Spades}{5-Spades} for nines up, albeit having been counterfeit on the river, and Dvoress mucked.

Second Barrel Gets it Done for Brewer

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop Marius Gierse check-called 4,000 from Chris Brewer.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Gierse checked. This time Brewer bet 16,000 and Gierse folded.

Dvoress Takes From Brewer

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened from the button and Chris Brewer three-bet to 18,000 from the small blind.

Dvoress called and the flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Brewer continued for 13,000. Dvoress raised to 28,000 and Brewer mucked his hand.

Brewer Moves All-In

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 4,500 from early position and was called by Johan Guilbert in the cutoff. Marius Gierse three-bet to 16,500 from the button and that prompted Chris Brewer to ask how much he had behind.

From the big blind, Chris Brewer then moved all-in as the big stack and received a few quick folds from his opponents.

Nemeth Takes It Down on Turn

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 4,500 from early position and was called by Andras Nemeth (cutoff), Johan Guilbert (button) and Daniel Dvoress (big blind).

Action checked to Nemeth on the {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, which prompted him to bet 6,500. Only Guilbert called. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, Nemeth sized up to 25,000 and that was enough to push Guilbert out of the pot.
