Chidwick and Dvoress Back to Starting Stack

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 5,000 and was called by Daniel Dvoress.

Both players checked the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and Chidwick bet 18,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn.

Dvoress called and Chidwick then bet 49,500 on the {q-Spades} river, leaving himself just 500 chips behind. Dvoress folded.

Guilbert Steadies Ship After Rocky Start

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 4,500 in the cutoff and was called by Johan Guilbert and Daniel Dvoress from the button and big blind, respectively.

Action checked to Guilbert on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and he bet 10,000. Only Nemeth called.

The {4-Hearts} turn was checked through to the {k-Hearts} river. Nemeth took the lead and bet 8,500 and was quickly called. Nemeth tabled the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Guilbert raked in the pot after rivering top pair with his {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Brewer Adds More Chips to Stack

Level 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 4,500 from under the gun before Chris Brewer three-bet to 13,500 from the next seat over.

Dvoress check-called a bet of 8,000 on the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop to see the {5-Spades} turn. Dvoress then check-folded after Brewer bet 12,000.

Rodrigo Selouan
Rodrigo Selouan

Chris Brewer raised to 4,500 in the cutoff and was only called by small blind Rodrigo Seluoan.

Brewer bet 2,000 on the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and then called his opponent's 15,500 all-in.

Rodrigo Selouan: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Chris Brewer: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Selouan had a host of outs to get a double, but would ultimately leave the tournament floor after the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} runout.

Timothy Adams

Andras Nemeth opened to 3,500 from the hijack before Marius Gierse three-bet to 10,000 from the button. Timothy Adams was all-in for his last 1,000 from the big blind and Nemeth called.

Nemeth check-called a bet 4,000 on the {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop before action checked through on the {10-Spades} turn and {6-Spades} river.

Nemeth had the winner with his {a-Spades}{9-Spades}, Gierse's {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} was good for queen-high as was Adams' {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Adams on the Brink After Bluffing River

Level 4 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With 20,000 chips in the middle on a {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs} board, Timothy Adams bet 32,000 into a pot of around 20,000.

Opponent Andras Nemeth called, and the river was the {8-Hearts}. Adams used a time bank before betting 75,000, leaving himself just 1,000 behind.

Nemeth used a time bank of his own before calling.

"You got it," said Adams, and Nemeth took down the pot without showdown.

Selouan Secures Small Triple

Level 4 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Rodrigo Selouan
Rodrigo Selouan

Rodrigo Selouan shoved for 6,000 and got calls from Marius Gierse and Daniel Dvoress in the blinds.

The two active players checked down a {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board and all cards were shown.

Gierse held {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for ace-high, but Dvoress held {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a pair of fours. Selouan had them both beat with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of fives and tripled up.
