Gilboa a Victim of Runner Runner

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

2019 EPT Sochi Main Event champion Uri Gilboa just alerted PokerNews to a big pot he was recently involved in.

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Fagundes Borges checked, Gilboa bet 4,000, and then Luka Cencelj raised to 11,000. Borges folded and Gilboa moved all-in for about 32,000. Cencelj called to put his tournament life at risk.

Luka Cencelj: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Uri Gilboa: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Cencelj held top and bottom pair, but Gilboa had flopped the nut straight.

The dealer however would not be kind to Gilboa, putting out the {k-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river to give Cencelj a backdoor flush and take a big chunk from Gilboa's stack.
