Gauyacq Takes from Aissaoui

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

With 2,200 in the pot and {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the board, a player in the big blind bet 1,000 and Mohamed Aissaoui called from under the gun. Gilles Gauyacq raised to 3,000 from the button and the big blind got out of the way before Aissaoui came along.

The turn was {8-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was {5-Spades}.

Aissaoui fired 4,500 on the river and Gauyacq took a moment before he called. Aissaoui turned over {4-Spades}{3-Spades} for fours and threes, but Gauyacq had {q-Spades}{8-Spades} to take the pot with the better two pair.

Gouges Takes from Bartov; Bartov Pressures Neese

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

PokerNews joined the table with a big early pot over 4,000 and {2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} on the board. Clement Gouges and Michael Bartov both checked to get to a showdown.

Gouges turned over {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Bartov flashed {a-Clubs} before tossing the losing hand in the muck.

On the next hand, Bartov raised to 300 from under the gun and action folded around to Nick Neese to defend the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Neese check-called a 300 bet from Bartov. The turn was {k-Clubs}.

Neese checked again and Bartov bet 1,500. After a brief moment of thought, Neese tossed his hand in the muck and Bartov took the pot.
