Pilkington Doubles; Eminoglu Eliminated

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jessica Pilkington
Jessica Pilkington

EPT London Ladies Event champion Jessica Pilkington was stacking her chips after doubling through James Williams. Pilkington had spiked two jacks with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts} runout to beat her opponent's {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and move above 100,000 in chips.

Meanwhile at another table, Yucel Eminoglu was needing help with {a-Spades}{k-Spades} all in for 20,000 against the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} of Andres Korn.

"Where do you want it?" a friend asked Eminoglu.

"I want it on the flop," said Eminoglu. "Kill him on the flop."

However, no ace or king was forthcoming on the {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} runout and Eminoglu was eliminated.

Chuttani Extends Chip Lead

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was on a river of {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} with Robin Fisher checking out of the big blind to Sahil Chuttani in the next position.

Chuttani agonized before eventually checking back a pot of over 30,000. Fisher tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for ace-high with Chuttani showing {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for top pair and taking down the pot.

"I could tell you wanted to bet the river," said Chuttani as he moved back above 200,000 chips.
