Marcello Marigliano opened the action to 6,500 from early position before Sam Grafton three-bet from the big blind. Marigliano responded by jamming as the superior stack and Grafton, who had around 130,000, made the snap-call for his tournament life.

Both players expected a chop but the flop gave Marigliano the chance to scoop. The turn completed his flush and Grafton was eliminated after the river.

Marigliano fired 30,000 and Seo took a moment before making a third call. Marigliano turned over for a flopped straight, while Seo flashed before mucking his cards.

Heung trailed at the start, and the was no help. His fortunes shifted on the turn, and Heung held through the river to double up.

Hecklen was left with crumbs, but was able to double shortly after to stay afloat.
