Marigliano Eliminates Park

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Andy Park's short stack was in the middle as Santhosh Suvarna and Marcello Marigliano battle on a {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop.

Suvarna led out from the small blind for 4,500, and Marigliano called to see the {3-Diamonds} turn. Suvarna checked, and folded once Marigliano fired 10,500 leaving the hand heads up.

Andy Park: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Marcello Marigliano: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Park was drawing dead even before the {k-Spades} hit the river, and he wished the table good luck on his way out.

At a nearby table, Jamil Wakil was also eliminated late in Level 1.

Divari Wins With Ace-High; More Bust Outs

Alex Kulev opened to 3,000 from early position before Henrik Hecklen three-bet to 9,000 from the hijack. Sita Divari called from the big blind and Kulev opted to fold.

Action checked through to showdown and Divari's {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} was best on the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board.

As the hand played out, the likes of Dimitar Danchev, Natalia Samsonova and Simon Higgins had all hit the rail.

Nemeth Raises the River

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Michael Watson opened to 3,500 from middle position and was called by Andras Nemeth on the button and Kuljinder Sidhu in the big blind.

Sidhu and Watson checked the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, with Nemeth firing 4,500. Sidhu called while Watson folded, and both players checked the {q-Diamonds} turn.

Sidhu then led out for 13,500 on the {3-Spades} river, and Nemeth took some time before sliding in a raise to 51,500. The bet represented almost all of Sidhu's remaining chips, and he mucked as Nemeth took it down.

Proudfoot Wakes Up with Aces

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Jonathan Proudfoot
Jonathan Proudfoot

Francisco Benitez was all in from under the gun for 1,500. Michel Dattani raised from middle position before calling the 41,500 shove from Jonathan Proudfoot in the big blind.

Francisco Benitez: {9-Spades}{4-Spades}
Jonathan Proudfoot: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Michel Dattani: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Proudfoot was in a great position to get a double up as well as securing an elimination and that's what happened after he ended with the nut flush following the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} runout.

Dattani was left with just 5,000 and was also ousted just a few hands later after getting it in with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} versus Martin Stausholm's {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Dattani made top pair on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop but was behind his opponent's two pair. The {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts} runout confirmed Dattani's exit.
