Zerjav Eliminates Crawley with Broadway

Level 16 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Blaz Zerjav opened to 6,500 from under the gun and was called by Raphael Khalili in the cutoff. James Crawley jammed all in for 59,000 in the small blind and Zerjav re-shoved over the top for 120,000. Khalili asked for a count with the hopes of picking up a couple of bounties but elected to fold his {a-Spades}{6-Spades} face up.

James Crawley: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Blaz Zerjav: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} gave Zerjav additional outs but Crawley was still in the lead. The {5-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing but the {j-Clubs} on the river gave Zerjav a straight to eliminate Crawley.

Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Fabian Gumz raised to 36,000 from late position and Kenny Hallaert shoved from the button with more. Barry Grime committed his last chips from the big blind and action was three ways with Grime and Gumz at risk.

Barry Grime: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Fabian Gumz: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Kenny Hallaert: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Hallaert picked up a pair of threes to bust both players and pick up two bounty tickets.

Guilbert Triples Up, Lawson Grabs a Bounty

Level 16 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Johan Gilbert
Johan Gilbert

There was a three-way all-in taking place on Table 11 with Johan Guilbert all in and at risk as the short stack for 16,000. The small blind was also all in for 72,000 and Zak Lawson was the big stack having both players covered.

Johan Guilbert: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Small Blind: {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Zak Lawson: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The dealer fanned the flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to give Guilbert a massive lead with the only pair and the best flush draw. The {3-Diamonds} and {2-Clubs} runout changed nothing, giving Guilbert a full triple up. Lawson was able to scoop the side pot to eliminate the small blind and claim his bounty.

Sklenicka Spikes an Ace on Adams

Level 15 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams started the day with a starting stack of 30,000 and got an early double-up to make himself a contender. He was in a prime position to double-up once again when he got the last of his 55,000 chips in the middle as a big favorite against Michael Sklenicka.

Timothy Adams: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Sklenicka: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Adams was still holding strong with his pocket queens. However, the {a-Hearts} on the turn put Sklenicka in the lead but Adams still had some outs. The {5-Clubs} on the river was not one of them as Adams was bounced from the tournament.

There was around 28,000 in the pot three ways. The board was {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Action checked to Zak Lawson in the big blind who bet 10,000. Trevor Reardon called from early position before Orpen Kisacikoglu moved all in from the small blind for 110,000.

Lawson folded and Reardon called.

Trevor Reardon: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Reardon had the nut flush draw while Kisacikoglu has flopped a straight. The river came the {2-Hearts} which eliminated Reardon from the tournament.
