Lefrancois Makes a Quick Exit

Level 9 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Pascal Lefrancois
Pascal Lefrancois

Kannapong Thanarattrakul raised to 12,000 from the small blind and Pascal Lefrancois called in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Thanarattrakul led out with a bet of 8,000. Lefrancois called and the {9-Spades} hit the turn.

Thanarattrakul fired out another bet of 27,000 and Lefrancois jammed all in. Thanarattrakul called off his stack of 77,000 chips and the cards were tabled. Thanarattrakul held {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for top two pair while Lefrancois had some outs with {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The river was the {7-Spades} and Thanarattrakul held on to double up through Lefrancois.

On the next hand, Lefrancois got the last of his 70,000 chips in the middle with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and was in a dominating position against the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} from Daniel Dvoress. However, Dvoress not only spiked a five but he also made a flush and Lefrancois was eliminated.
