Liszkovics and Loupasis Keep it Friendly

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was caught on the turn with 20,000 in the pot on the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs} board. Alex Peffly and Jozsef Liszkovics checked from the big blind and middle position respectively before Antonios Loupasis made it 15,000 on the button.

Peffly quickly folded and Liszkovics went into the tank. "Will you show if I fold?" he asked and Loupasis agreed.

Liszkovics showed his {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and folded his cards and he made the right move as his opponent had the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a turned flush.

Shortly after the hand played out, Peffly was eliminated from the tournament.

Shahar's Kicker the Difference

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ran Shahar opened to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by Bulcsu Lukacs and Clement Kerrien from the blinds.

Shahar bet 2,600 on the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. Only Lukacs called before the {6-Hearts} turn checked through to the {9-Hearts} river.

Lukacs opted to lead for 3,200 and was quickly called by Shahar. Lukacs announced "Jack," and exposed his {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Shahar had him pipped with the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to take down the pot.

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Tom Orpaz
Tom Orpaz

Tom Orpaz has had a day full of ups and downs that saw him getting up to over four times starting stack at one point before being eliminated in Level 7.

As relayed by the table, Orpaz moved all in with {j-}{10-} and was called by the {a-}{3-} of Raimondo Marcello, who won the hand with ace-high after an inconsequential runout.

The real estate entrepreneur bought back into the tournament shortly after and took his seat at another table.

Gilboa Down Husarik

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Radim Husarik was all-in and at risk from the big blind and was up against Uri Gilboa who was sat in middle position.

Radim Husarik: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Uri Gilboa: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop brought in some chop outs for Husarik but he failed to connect to on the {2-Spades} turn and {3-Diamonds} river and was ousted from the tournament.

Magyar Finds a Call

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Tom Orpaz was out of position in a heads-up pot against Istvan Magyar on a board of {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

With around 15,000 in the middle, Orpaz bet 12,000 and sat with his headphones over his ears as Magyar tried to get some information as he thought through a call.

"He can't hear you," someone at the table said.

"Oh, he heard me!" countered Magyar.

After a minute or so, Magyar winced and closed his eyes as he put out 12,000 for a call. Orpaz flipped over {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} for ace-high and Magyar proudly tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to win the pot with a pair of fours.

Timo Scarcella opened to 1,800 from middle position and was called by Andre Jeambrun on his direct left and Ioannis Konstantinidis on the button.

Scarcella continued for 3,200 on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and only Konstantinidis called. The {3-Clubs} turn prompted Scarcella to fire for another 8,000 and again his opponent matched the bet.

The {2-Spades} river checked through to showdown and Scarcella scooped the pot with his {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} after Konstantinidis mucked.
