Kim Doubles Through Tokoo

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Namhyung Kim moved all in from under the gun for 350,000. Action folded all the way to Shunsuke Tokoo who just called from the small blind. The big blind folded.

Namhyung Kim: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Shunsuke Tokoo: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The dealer spread the {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, scary for threes, but they were still good when all was said and done to give Kim the double.

Trips Get Truong Paid

Sammy Truong was out of position in a heads-up pot against Eldiyar Janiev on a board of {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} with around 400,000 already in the middle.

After taking some time, Truong bet 105,000 and Janiev asked for a count before calling. Truong showed him the bad news as he held {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for trips to win the pot.

Holst Leaves 5,000 Behind

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Hans Holst raised to 230,000 from the small blind, leaving 5,000 behind. Borgki Biba tank-called from the big blind.

Action checked through to showdown with the {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board on display.

Holst had the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a full house and scooped the pot.

Bogdanov Doubles After Long Tank

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Toni Kaukua opened from the hijack to find a three-bet from Yulian Bogdanov on the button for 125,000. Back on Kaukua, he moved all in for 765,000 effective.

Bogdanov went well into the tank. A tablemate called the clock. The tournament director counted all the way down to two seconds before Bogdanov made the call. A looming pay jump may have been a factor.

Yulian Bogdanov: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Toni Kaukua: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

It was a race between two similarly-sized stacks. Bogdanov came out ahead on the {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} board to take down the pot.

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

"You win," Van Wassenberg said in defeat as he showed {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} for just seven-high, leading Krueger to turn over the winner with {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.
