Lee is Still Flying High

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Adi Rajkovic had around 15 big blinds and ripped all in for around 45,000 in the hijack. Jaesung Lee, one of the chip leaders, had the chips to call on the button to put Rajkovic at risk.

Adi Rajkovic: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Jaesung Lee: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Lee took the lead with a pair of kings. The {8-Clubs} on the turn gave Rajkovic a flush draw but the {2-Hearts} bricked off on the river and he was eliminated.

Hannes Takes from Pieraccini

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Parker Talbot opened from middle posotion to 6,000, Guido Pieraccini called from the button, as did Pflanzl Hannes from the small blind.

The three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and the action checked through.

On the {6-Hearts} turn Hannes bet out 7,000, Talbot called as did Pieraccini.

The river {7-Diamonds} paired the board and Hannes led out for 17,000. Talbot folded his cards and Pieraccini threw in the call.

Hannes showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house and took down the pot.

Auzoux Takes From Chip Leader

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Gregoire Auzoux opened from the hijack and ran into a three-bet on the button from chip leader Luigi D'Alterio. Back on Auzoux, he moved all in for 92,000. D'Alterio called quickly.

"I'm bad," said Auzoux. "I was so sure. Ace!"

Gregoire Auzoux: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Luigi D'Alterio: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

D'Alterio had the goods, but the flop worked against him when the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts} came out. The turn {a-Diamonds} and river {6-Spades} gave Auzoux the full house and D'Alterio dipped back under the one million mark for now.

"I folded an ace, too," said tablemate Andreas Chalkiadakis.

Niederreiter Crashes Out With Aces

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was a loud gasp coming from table 20 as Fabian Niederreiter vaulted out of his chair in disgust. His chips were pushed to Jussi Mattila, who had come out on top of a duel big blind versus button.

All cards were still exposed as Niederreiter had gotten it in for around 60,000 with the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Mattila was behind with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} but scored a fortunate runout on the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Spades} board to eliminate Niederreiter shy of the money.

Giovanni Petroni: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Kassem Hammoud: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Andras Matrai: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Robert Cowen opened to 6,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 20,000 by Jaesung Lee on the button and Cowen called.

Cowen check-called Lee's bet of 13,000 on the {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} flop and the two big stacks took to the {q-Hearts} turn. Cowen checked again and Lee sized up betting 45,000 only for Cowen to fold.

Lee jested "I never bluff!" flashing {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} as he raked in another pot and is now one of biggest stacks in the room.
