Kaliahin Flops a Set

Ihor Kaliahin raised to 12,000 in the hijack and was called by Veselin Karakitukov on the button. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Kaliahin continued with a bet of 15,000. Karakitukov called and the {8-Clubs} rolled off on the turn.

Kaliahin fired out another bet of 41,000 and Karakitukov stuck around to see the {k-Hearts} on the river. Kaliahin shut it down with a check this time and Karakitukov checked it back. Kaliahin turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a set of nines and Karakitukov mucked his cards.

Baumann Goes Back to Back

Action started on the flop in a heads-up pot between Milan Simko and Gaelle Baumann. The board was {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Baumann checked the big blind. Simko bet 14,000 in position and Baumann made the call.

The turn brought the straight draw in when the {a-Diamonds} came. Both players checked.

On the {2-Spades} river, Baumann led for 40,000. Simko let his cards go quickly.

Sitting in the small blind, Gaelle Baumann three-bet to 60,000, about a third of her stack. One by one, her opponents let their cards go and she took down another pot.

Steinbrenner Busts in Odd Hand

Justin Steinbrenner was down to just 24,000 chips and pushed all in from early position. He was called by Steven Mulder on his left and Karol Bogusz in the small blind. Steinbrenner, unaware that there was still action on the side pot, tabled his cards with action still pending but quickly turned them back face down.

On the flop of {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Mulder checked out of turn which led to Bogusz throwing in a bet of 30,000 from the small blind. Mulder folded and then the final two hands were eventually tabled.

Andrew Hulme opened to 14,000 from early position and picked up a single caller in Nicola Grieco from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, Grieco checked and Hulme checked behind.

The turn came the {2-Diamonds} and both players checked for a second time and saw the {10-Hearts} on the river.

Grieco checked for the third time, Hulme bet out 18,000 and Grieco folded.

Small Pair for Koleckar

Fabrizio Benvenuto raised to 12,000 from under the gun and was called by Jakub Koleckar and Fahredin Mustafov in the blinds. The flop came {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {8-Diamonds} on the turn.

Mustafov was the first to take a shot at the pot with a bet of 18,000. Benvenuto folded but Koleckar stuck around to see the {j-Hearts} on the river. Both players tapped the table and Koleckar tabled {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Big Blinds Turns Out Special for Cavaciu

Action picked up on the river in a swelling pot of about 180,000. The full board showed {4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Paul Cavaciu led for 135,000 from the big blind. Patrick Kallas was his sole opponent in middle position, and he went into the tank, using one of his time bank cards. Eventually, he landed on the call.

Cavaciu showed {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the turned flush. Kallas reacted with disgust and showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for two pair.

Maliqi Jams the River

Jun Obara raised to 12,000 from middle position and Sonny Franco called from the next seat over. Bleron Maliqi came along from late position and the rest of the table got out of the way.

The flop was {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Spades} and both Obara and Franco checked. Maliqi tossed out a bet and Obara folded before Franco called to see {9-Clubs} on the turn.

Franco check-called a 54,000 bet from Maliqi on the turn and the river was {8-Clubs}.

Franco fired 55,000 at the river before Maliqi shoved for over 700,000 more and Franco gave up the pot after he used the entire shot clock.

Hocquaux Makes a Straight, Then a Flush

Action picked up on the turn in a heads-up, button-versus-big blind battle. The board was {7-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} and about 55,000 was in the middle

Alexandre Hocquaux checked from the big blind. On the button, Veselin Karakitukov bet 38,000. Hocquaux gave it the full 30 seconds and made the call.

The river came the {6-Spades}, the fourth spade on the board. Both players checked the final street.

Hocquaux showed {j-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the turned straight that made a flush on the river, prompting Karakitukov, to muck his cards.
