Action picked up on the river in a heads-up pot between Manuel Ruivo and Maksim Shornikau. The cards on the table were {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and about 95,000 was up for grabs.

Ruivo checked his option from the big blind. In position in the cutoff, Shornikau bet 65,000. Back on Ruivo, he check-raises to the tune of 175,000, which sent Shornikau deep into the tank. He burned a couple of time banks before deciding on the fold.

Bleron Maliqi opened to 12,000 from early position, Peter Kvisthammar reraised all in from the cutoff for 138,000, Jun Obara four-bet all in to 461,000 from the button and the blinds folded with the action back on Maliqi.

Maliqi announced call but looked confused as Kvisthammar and Obara flipped their hands over. Maliqi had thought that Obara had just called the all-in from Kvisthammar, and not reraised himself.

Once the confusion died down the players showed their hands with both Kvisthammar and Obara at risk to the big stack of Maliqi.
