Arjel Daci raised to 45,000 from under the gun and Jun Obara three-bet to 150,000 on the button. Daci just called and the dealer fanned the flop of {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Daci checked to Obara who bet 80,000 and Daci check-raised to 200,000 which Obara called.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and Daci instantly pushed out a bet of 525,000. Obara still called and the {q-Clubs} completed the board. Daci slid out a bet of 300,000 this time, leaving himself with just 150,000 behind. Obara moved all in and Daci eventually called it off. Obara showed {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for trip eights while Daci was left to think what could have been with his {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Odeen Doubles, Then Busts

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jerry Odeen
Jerry Odeen

Action picked up on the flop with a board of {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Jerry Odeen was playing from the big blind against preflop raiser Rui Milhomens on the button.

Odeen moved his last few big blinds into the pot after seeing the flop, and he was called quickly by Milhomens.

Jerry Odeen: {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Rui Milhomens: {10-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Odeen flopped top pair, but Milhomens had the overpair. The turn flipped the script, though, when the {8-Clubs} hit the board. The river {6-Diamonds} gave Odeen the boat and the double.

__________

The next hand, action folded to Odeen in the small blind. With new chips to work with, he moved in for about 90,000. In the big blind, Petr Svoboda made the call and Odeen was trying to double once more.

Jerry Odeen: {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Petr Svoboda: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Behind again, Odeen couldn't find the magic on the {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} runout and was felted.
