Adams Empties the Clip Against Big Blind

Timothy Adams opened to 21,000 from under the gun and only found one caller, Andriy Mertengren in the big blind.

The dealer laid out the {q-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs} for the flop. Mertengren check-called a bet of 20,000 from Adams.

The turn showed up the {8-Clubs}, Mertengren checked again. Adams bumped up the number to 82,000 on the turn, which Mertengren called.

The river fell the {2-Clubs}, and Mertengren checked one final time. Adams assembled 207,000 and slide it all into the middle. Mertengren went deep into the tank, burning a couple of time banks, before finally letting his cards go.

Hocquaux Perplexes Buhaiov

Alexandre Hocquaux opened to 20,000 from early position, Nazar Buhaiov called from the seat to his left and the rest of the table folded.

The dealer fanned a {5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Hocquaux bet 17,000 and Buhaiov called.

The turn came the {7-Clubs} and this time Hocquaux checked, Buhaiov fired out a bet of 30,000 and Hocquaux check-raised to 95,000. Buhaiov thought for a few moments using a time bank card in the process before eventually folding and awarding the pot to Hocquaux.

Lijo Beats Adams on Showdown

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was three ways with {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} on the flop when Lander Lijo checked and Laurent Cessy bet 16,000. Timothy Adams called from the big blind and Lijo tossed in the chips to see a turn.

The turn was {6-Clubs} and both players checked to Adams for a bet of 82,000. Lijo called but Cessy folded and the river was {k-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the river and Lijo turned over {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} for there aces. Adams tossed the losing hand in the muck and Lijo dragged the pot.

Max Neugebauer shoved his last 39,000 into the middle and Alexandre Hocquaux called from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and Neugebauer was at risk.

Patrick Kallas raised it up from early position and Ondrej Drozd shipped all in for 136,000 on his left. The action folded back to Kallas who quickly called.

Small Blind Aggression Works for Kliper

After action folded to him, Arie Kliper limped the small blind to see Timothy Adams raise the big blind to 40,000. Kliper revealed the limp three-bet to 100,000. Adams made the call in position.

The flop came out {5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Kliper continued with a bet of 67,000. Adams used a time bank, but made the call after about a minute.

The turn showed up the {k-Spades}. Kliper fired again, this time for 130,000. Adams thought for a bit, but decided to bow out and let the pot ship to Kliper.

Ruivo Bounces Back With a Double

Petr Svoboda raised and Manuel Ruivo three-bet from the next seat over before Svoboda shoved with more. Ruivo called for his last 166,000 and he was at risk in heads-up action.
