Level 26 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Mike Takayama
Mike Takayama

Mike Takayama was in the small blind in a heads-up pot against under the gun player Yigit Aksoy on a flop of {5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Takayama checked on the flop and Aksoy fired for 50,000. Takayama check-raised to 150,000 and his opponent called. Takayama then bet 345,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn and Aksoy folded, leading Takayama to reveal the {3-Hearts}.

Meanwhile at the table, Daan Mulders was shocked to learn 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Hossein Ensan is also an EPT champion, having taking down the 2015 EPT Prague Main Event for €754,510.

"I wasn't alive back then!" laughed Mulders.

Yigit Aksoy opened to 50,000 from middle position and was called by Oleksii Ievchenko on his direct left. Emrah Yildiz jammed for 240,000 from the button which prompted Aksoy to jam over the top and Ievchenko folded.

Emrah Yildiz: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
Yigit Aksoy: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Yildiz had one overcard and added two straight draw outs following the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Clubs} also added some counterfeit outs but the {k-Spades} river confirmed his departure.

Dukic Overbets River

Level 25 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

There was 865,000 in the pot. Nanad Dukic was under the gun against Mathieu Di Meglio in the big blind.

The board was {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Di Meglio checked to Dukic who moved all in for 1,050,000 effective. Di Meglio took off his hat and went deep into the tank. He went on to say "I have seven, ace seven". Dukic looked cold into the table. After some more deliberation Di Meglio showed the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and through the cards into the muck as the dealer slid the chips to Dukic.
