Takayama Check-Raises Aksoy

Mike Takayama was in the small blind in a heads-up pot against under the gun player Yigit Aksoy on a flop of {5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Takayama checked on the flop and Aksoy fired for 50,000. Takayama check-raised to 150,000 and his opponent called. Takayama then bet 345,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn and Aksoy folded, leading Takayama to reveal the {3-Hearts}.

Meanwhile at the table, Daan Mulders was shocked to learn 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Hossein Ensan is also an EPT champion, having taking down the 2015 EPT Prague Main Event for €754,510.

"I wasn't alive back then!" laughed Mulders.

Thomas Graupner opened to 65,000 from the button and was called by Nikolaos Iliakis and Alaettin Keles from the blinds.

Iliakis checked before Keles led out for 50,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} flop and only Graupner called. Keles then jammed for 155,000 on the {k-Spades} turn and after a few moments of thinking, Graupner called as the bigger stack.

Keles turned two pair, while Graupner had a pair of a kings. The {9-Hearts} river changed nothing and Keles doubled up.

Yigit Aksoy opened to 50,000 from middle position and was called by Oleksii Ievchenko on his direct left. Emrah Yildiz jammed for 240,000 from the button which prompted Aksoy to jam over the top and Ievchenko folded.

Yildiz had one overcard and added two straight draw outs following the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Clubs} also added some counterfeit outs but the {k-Spades} river confirmed his departure.

Pudel Doubles Up

Level 25 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Gregoire Auzoux raised to 50,000 from the hijack. He was called by Andras Vaczo in the cutoff, Iliodoros Kamatakis on the button and Nils Pudel in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Auzoux bet 175,000 when checked to. Only Pudel called.

The {10-Diamonds} was the turn and Pudel check called the 75,000 bet from Auzoux.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Auzoux completed the triple barrel when he put Pudel all in for 285,000. Pudel thought through his decision for a bit before calling. Auzoux turned over {k-Spades}{8-Spades} for a bluff while Pudel doubled up with {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a straight.

Kondraszuk Takes from Iliakis

Maciej Kondraszuk was in the big blind in a heads-up pot against Nikolaos Iliakis in the hijack on a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Kondraszuk bet 50,000 on the flop and his opponent called. Kondraszuk then bet 110,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn and Iliakis laid it down.

Kunze Bust Sets Up Three Table Redraw

Dukic Overbets River

There was 865,000 in the pot. Nanad Dukic was under the gun against Mathieu Di Meglio in the big blind.

The board was {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Di Meglio checked to Dukic who moved all in for 1,050,000 effective. Di Meglio took off his hat and went deep into the tank. He went on to say "I have seven, ace seven". Dukic looked cold into the table. After some more deliberation Di Meglio showed the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and through the cards into the muck as the dealer slid the chips to Dukic.
