Kannapong Thanarattrakul
Kannapong Thanarattrakul

Kannapong Thanarattrakul opened from under the gun to 25,000 and was called by Sam Grafton on his immediate left. Orpen Kisacikoglu also called from the big blind.

Thanarattrakul bet 20,000 on the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop and only Grafton called. Thanarattrakul slowed down and checked the {10-Diamonds} turn before Grafton bet 35,000. Thanarattrakul then put in the min-click to 70,000 and Grafton matched the wager.

Thanarattrakul sized up to 200,000 on the {9-Hearts} river, leaving himself 25,000 behind. Grafton quickly called.

Thanarattrakul had trip kings with his {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} but was bested by Grafton who had a straight with his {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

The next hand, Thanarattrakul was in the big blind and was essentially forced all in. He survived and received a small rebate from Kisacikoglu.

Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Sam Grafton raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and was called by Denis Peganov on the button and Daniel Dvoress in the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Grafton continued with a bet of 70,000. Peganov folded but Dvoress called.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Dvoress check-called another bet of 85,000 from Grafton. The {6-Hearts} rolled off on the river and Dvoress checked once more. Grafton used one of his time banks but elected to check it back. Dvoress tabled {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair and Grafton conceded the pot.

Watson fired for 25,000 on the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop and only Pique called. Watson then sized up to 70,000 on the {a-Diamonds} turn which prompted Pique to jam for just a little bit more. Watson called to put the World Cup winner at risk.

Gerard Pique: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Pique was drawing to the three remaining nines but the {q-Diamonds} river improved Watson and Pique quickly left the tournament room.

Tsoukernik Risks It All on a Flush Draw

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Leon Tsoukernik
Leon Tsoukernik

Leon Tsoukernik raised to 30,000 on the button and Rodrigo Seiji three-bet to 110,000 in the small blind. Tsoukernik called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Seiji checked to Tsoukernik who just ripped all in for around 550,000. Seiji called and the cards were tabled.

Leon Tsoukernik: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Rodrigo Seiji: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Seiji flopped top pair but Tsoukernik had plenty of outs with a pair and a flush draw. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing as did the {5-Spades} on the river. Tsoukernik was eliminated and the final 16 players will no redraw to two tables.
