Bruno Volkmann
Bruno Volkmann

Bruno Volkmann reraised to 57,000 from the button over top of a raise from Nick Petrangelo in early position, and Petrangelo came back with a four-bet to 130,000.

Volkmann then shoved all in and Petrangeo snap-called for around 390,000.

Bruno Volkmann: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Petrangelo stayed ahead on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board, but the {q-Clubs} spiked on the river to give Volkmann the massive pot and the tournament chip lead, while sending Petrangelo hurrying to the exit door.

Greenwood Puts Badziakouski To The Test

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Mikita Badziakouski opened from under the gun to 12,000 and both Sam Greenwood and Nick Petrangelo made the call from the blinds.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Greenwood and Petrangelo checked to Badziakouski who continued for 9,000. Greenwood decided on a check-raise to 30,000 and only Badziakouski came along.

On the {a-Spades} turn Greenwood took a moment before betting 35,000 and again Badziakouski called.

The {6-Spades} completed the board and Greenwood slid a stack of blue chips forward, covering the 70,000 stack of Badziakouski who went deep in the tank. After several minutes of thought, Badziakouski let his hand go and the chips were sent to the Canadian.

Obara Spikes the Turn to Double Off Mateos

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jun Obara opened for 12,000 on the button before Adrian Mateos three-bet to 45,000 in the small blind. Obara came back with an all-in shove for 167,000 and Mateos snap-called.

Jun Obara: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
