Tang's Comeback Bid Ends; Phua Also Busts

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Kahle Burns raised to 8,500 from early position before Danny Tang shoved all in for 39,500. Orpen Kisacikoglu reshoved and Burns folded.

Danny Tang: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

"I don't feel good about this," Tang said upon seeing Kisacikoglu's hand. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, improving Kisacikoglu to a pair of aces, and he stayed ahead as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to put an end to Tang's chip-and-a-chair comeback attempt.

At the same time on another table, Paul Phua was all in for 64,000 and up against Dan Smith.

Paul Phua: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Dan Smith: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Phua remained in front as the board came {2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, but the {k-Spades} on the river gave Smith a pair of kings and sent Phua to the rail.

Burns Puts Yotsushika To The Test

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

The action was picked up on a flop of {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} in a pot of roughly 45,000. Kazuhiko Yotsushika checked from the big blind and Kahle Burns bet 10,000 from early position. Yotsushika elected on a check-raise to 20,000 and Burns came along.

The turn came the {3-Hearts} and both players checked. On the {8-Hearts} river Yotsushika checked and after asking to see Yotsushika's chips, Burns moved all in for a huge stack, more than covering the 55,000 remaining of Yotsushika. Without much consideration, Yotsushika folded and Burns scooped in the sizable pot.

Level 10 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 8,000 from early position before Mikita Badziakouski shoved all in for 73,000. Lucas Greenwood called all in for less and Mateos gave it some thought before folding.

Lucas Greenwood: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Mikita Badziakouski: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Greenwood's two eights stayed in front to keep him in the tournament while leaving Badziakouski on a short stack.

Antonius Slow Plays Big Hand

Level 9 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Patrik Antonius
Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius opened the action preflop to 6,500 from under the gun. Dan Smith made the call on the button and Paul Phua came along in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and all players checked around to the {j-Spades} turn when again it was checked through. The {2-Diamonds} completed the board and Phua checked to Antonius who bet out 20,000. Smith went in the tank and contemplated till his 30-second time was down to only two seconds before making the call.

Phua folded and Antonius rolled over {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for kings and jacks. Smith mucked his hand and the pot was sent to Antonius.
