Chidwick With an Early Check-Raise

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened to 500 from under the gun and Dimitrios Angelakos flat-called as the player next to act, while Arnold Oosterbaan also came along from the big blind.

Oosterbaan checked on the flop of {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Chidwick also checked. Angelakos fired a bet to 700 and only Chidwick called.

Chidwick checked again on the {5-Diamonds} turn and Angelakos quickly bet 1,000. After staring down his opponent for a bit, Chidwick check-raised to 4,500, prompting a fold from his Greek opponent, who showed the {10-Clubs}.

After Orpen Kisacikoglu limped in the small blind, Pieter Aerts raised to 800 in the big blind. Kisacikoglu then limp-three-bet to 3,600 and was called by Aerts.

On the {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, Kisacikoglu continued for 5,200 and was called by Aerts.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Kisacikoglu cut out a bet of 12,700 before tossing it forward. Again, Aerts made the call.

The duo had similar stacks remaining for the {4-Hearts} river and Kisacikoglu fired once more for 26,600, leaving himself a single T-100 chip behind. The bet actually covered Aerts, who had roughly 24,000 left.

After using one of his time bank cards, Aerts folded to send the pot to "Orp the Turk"

After Dimitrios Angelakos opened the action with a raise in early position, he was three-bet to 2,000 by Sam Greenwood in the hijack.

Angelakos called to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}. He then check-called a bet of 1,200 from Greenwood and the duo then checked the {7-Diamonds} turn.

On the {9-Hearts} river, Angelakos checked again and this time he faced a bet of 6,000 from his Canadian opponent.

Angelakos pondered briefly then mucked his hand to send the pot across the table.
