River Bet Takes it for Janardhan

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Bharath Janardhan opened to 800 from the cutoff and Baard Dahl called from the button along with Petri Paakkonen in the big blind.

Players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} that was checked around to the {8-Diamonds} turn. Paakkonen bet 1,000 and Jonardhan called but Dahl let it go.

The {k-Spades} filled up the board and this time, Paakkonen checked.

"Is it a trap check?" asked Janardhan before throwing in a bet of 3,000 a few seconds later.

Paakkonen went into the tank for a few seconds then chose to let it go.

"I will show one," Janardhan continued, turning over the {7-Spades}.

"Come on! You trapped me!" mumbled Paakkonen.

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Sergio Aido was among three players that saw a river and a completed board of {9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Bahador Azad checked from the big blind, and Aido bet 1,600 into the 5,200 chip pot from the hijack.

Eugenio Peralta folded on the button, and after some brief thought, Azad folded as well, sending the pot to Aido, whose stack has dwindled to start the day, but gets a bit of life with this win.

Shmagun Doubles With Aces

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Before the blinds went up, Igor D`Ursel already had 2,500 over the betting line in the hijack, Andrea Gambino had 2,500 over the line on the button, and Valentin Shmagun had moved in his 19,900 chips in middle position. D`Ursel called and Gambino folded.

Valentin Shmagun: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Igor D`Ursel: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

D`Ursel ran his big slick into the rockets, and although the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop provided a Broadway draw, the {10-Hearts} and {8-Clubs} completed the board to confirm Shmagun's double.

Tens Are Good for Strahl

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Carl Strahl opened to 1,000 under the gun and Jan Bronkhorst called from the button along with Frederik Brink in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} that was checked through to Bronkhorst who bet 1,100. Brink folded but Strahl check-called.

The turn came the {7-Diamonds} and Strahl check-called another bet of 2,500 from Bronkhorst.

The {k-Diamonds} completed the board, and this time, both players opted to check. Strahl revealed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for kings and tens and his Bronkhorst threw his hand in the muck.
