Aido Gets a Bit Healthier

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Sergio Aido was among three players that saw a river and a completed board of {9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Bahador Azad checked from the big blind, and Aido bet 1,600 into the 5,200 chip pot from the hijack.

Eugenio Peralta folded on the button, and after some brief thought, Azad folded as well, sending the pot to Aido, whose stack has dwindled to start the day, but gets a bit of life with this win.

River Bet Takes it for Janardhan

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Bharath Janardhan opened to 800 from the cutoff and Baard Dahl called from the button along with Petri Paakkonen in the big blind.

Players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} that was checked around to the {8-Diamonds} turn. Paakkonen bet 1,000 and Jonardhan called but Dahl let it go.

The {k-Spades} filled up the board and this time, Paakkonen checked.

"Is it a trap check?" asked Janardhan before throwing in a bet of 3,000 a few seconds later.

Paakkonen went into the tank for a few seconds then chose to let it go.

"I will show one," Janardhan continued, turning over the {7-Spades}.

"Come on! You trapped me!" mumbled Paakkonen.

Malinov Puts Klein to the Test

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

A pot of nearly 20,000 had been built by the river on a completed board of {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

After Morten Klein checked from the big blind, Atanas Malinov stacked up his remaining chips on the button and moved all in for approximately 20,000.

Klein's stack was just slightly larger than Malinov's, and hje went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally shooing his cards away toward the dealer to preserve the rest of his stack while sending the pot to Malinov.
