Rehman Only Gets One Street After Flopping Set of Aces

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With about 3,800 in the pot, the flop came {q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Saeed Rehman checked from middle position over to Boyan Asenov in the cutoff, who bet 2,600. Rehman called.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, both players were content to tap the table.

The {9-Diamonds} completed the board and Rehman checked over to Asenov, who checked back, much to Rehman's disappointment.

Rehman tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} for an aces-over-nines full house and requested that Asenov show his hand. Asenov smiled and declined.

Amsellem Falls to Taheri

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Ralf Penzkofer raised to 1,300 from early position and Anthony Amsellem three-bet to 4,000 from one seat over. Afshin Taheri called from the small blind but Penzkofer folded.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Taheri check-called a bet of 5,500 but Amsellem.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Taheri checked again. Amsellem moved all in for about 21,000 and Taheri snap-called.

Anthony Amsellem: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Afshin Taheri: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Amsellem only had a gutshot but Taheri had a set of sixes. The {k-Spades} filled up the board and Taheri raked in the pot, sending his opponent to the rail.

Luther Shoves on Yildiz

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Nikita Luther
Nikita Luther

On a heads-up flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades}, Emrah Yildiz on the button bet 10,000 into a pot of around 12,000.

But then his opponent in the big blind, Nikita Luther, check-raised all in for 29,600, putting the pressure back on Yildiz.

After a few minutes in the tank, Luther called the clock, but when the floor came over they determined that it had not quite been long enough so Yildiz was given more time. But shortly afterwards, he flashed a king and folded his hand.

Galindo Runs into Crawley's Set

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

With a completed board of {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} and just under 10,000 in the pot, James Crawley bet 9,000, sending Humberto Galindo and his short stack into the tank.

Galindo only had just over 20,000 remaining in his stack so the bet represented almost half his remaining stack.

Ultimately he called and saw Crawley roll over {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a turned set of eights.

Galindo mucked his hand and will now have to navigate a stack of just over 10,000.
