Sow Sends Luna To The Exit

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Andres Carrillo Luna opened from middle position to 40,000 and it folded to Kalidou Sow in the small blind who three-bet to 125,000, which Luna called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}, Sow checked to Luna who moved all in for 305,000. After almost 30 seconds in the tank, Sow reluctantly called.

Andres Carrillo Luna: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Kalidou Sow: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Luna found himself in a great spot for a double up and when the turn came the {k-Clubs} was still in the lead. The river however fell the {a-Spades}, giving Sow aces-up and eliminated Luna in 66th place.

Good Timing for Szczytkowski Earns Him a Triple

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Emmanuel Lopez raised again to 40,000 from early position before Georgi Sandev reraised to 110,000 on the button. In the big blind, Wojciech Szczytkowski shoved for 245,000 and both opponents called.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Lopez fired out 75,000, forcing an immediate fold from Sandev as the cards went on their backs. Lopez showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for top pair, but Szczytkowski had {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the flopped set.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Szczytkowski finished with a full house to triple up.

"Good timing," Lopez told him after the hand.

"Not a bad time to flop a set," Szczytkowski replied.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Emmanuel Lopez raised to 40,000 and was called by Daniel Birkmose in the cutoff and big blind Fabiano Kovalski.

The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and all three players checked. The {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Lopez bet 30,000 after Kovalski checked, with only the Brazilian calling to the {a-Spades} river.

Kovalski checked again and Lopez fired out 245,000. Kovalski flashed a smile over at his opponent before folding.

"Come on," Lopez said as he showed the {6-Spades}.

"Two hundred and I call," Kovalski replied.

Pasco Wins "No Bluff" Battle

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to Jerwin Pasco in the small blind who was contemplating his option while Kalidou Sow jokingly said "walk, walk," hoping he would win without contest. Pasco elected to limp in and after a moment Sow checked behind.

On the flop of {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} Sow decided to lead out for 45,000.

"No bluff," said Sow while he cut out his bet. Pasco seemed undeterred and made the call. On the {4-Clubs} turn both players checked their options.

The {k-Clubs} completed the board and again play was checked. Pasco quickly rolled over {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for top pair.

"Incredible, incroyable ," said Sow in English and French as he mucked his hand.

Sorensen Doubles Thru Margereson

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Torben Sorensen got his last 360,000 in the middle from the button and was up against big blind Scott Margereson.

Torben Sorensen: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Scott Margereson: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}, giving Sorensen a set and leaving Margereson drawing to runner-runner. Margereson was already drawing dead when the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn, giving Sorensen a full house, and the meaningless river was the {2-Hearts}.

"I knew it. I knew I couldn't stop myself," Margereson said after the hand.
