Watson Gets Value On River

In a pot of roughly 14,000 on a board showing , both Joao Vieira in the big blind and Mike Watson from early position checked.

The completed the board and Vieira checked again. Watson took a moment before announcing a bet of 14,000. Vieira quickly called and was shown for flopped top pair, enough to win the pot when Vieira mucked his hand.

Watson is fresh off a victory in yesterdays €50,000 High Roller tournament and is looking to make another deep run in todays event.

Staahle Takes More From Addamo

The flop came and Addamo checked. Staahle bet another 11,000 and Addamo called to see the on the turn.

Both players checked, then checked again on the river. Addamo went to show an eight but Staahle flipped over to win the pot.

Action folded to Nick Petrangelo on the button who opened for 3,000. Dan Smith was next to act in the small blind and elected on a three-bet to 15,500 and only Petrangelo made the call.

The flop came and Petrangelo check-called a bet of 10,000 from Smith. The hit the turn and Petrangelo checked again. Smith took roughly 30 seconds before announcing a bet of 38,000 and without much thought, Petrangelo folded.
