Loeliger Lucky to Escape With a Chop

Level 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Linus Loeliger and Mikita Badziakouski built a pot of around 40,000 heading to the turn on a board of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Badziakouski, in the small blind, bet 30,000 and Loeliger called.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and Badziakouski checked. Loeliger came out with a bet of 55,000 and Badziakouski asked to see how much he had behind before he called.

Loeliger showed {k-}{10-} for trip tens that turned into a straight on the river. Badziakouski flashed {k-}{9-} for the turned straight as they split the big pot.

"What a free roll for king-ten," tablemate Tom Orpaz said following the hand.

Kisacikoglu Shoves River

Level 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick opened the action to 2,500 from early position. Next to act was Kevin Paque who three-bet to 8,000. It folded to Orpen Kisacikoglu in the small blind who made the call and Chidwick came along as well.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Kisacikoglu checked to Chidwick who made it 6,500. Paque got out of the way and Kisacikoglu put in a check-raise to 26,000, which after some thought Chidwick made the call.

On the {3-Clubs} turn Kisacikoglu kept the aggression up with a bet of 40,000. Chidwick asked how much Kisacikoglu had behind and then made the call. The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Kisacikoglu moved all in for 100,000. Without much consideration, Chidwick quickly folded and the pot was sent to Kisacikoglu.

Petrangelo Drops Some to Ponakovs

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Shortly after taking that big pot off Ben Heath and Aleksejs Ponakovs, Nick Petrangelo would give some back to his Latvian opponent.

Ponakovs three-bet to 7,500 from middle position and Petrangelo, in early position, called to see the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. He checked to Ponakovs, who continued for 10,000.

Petrangelo called as the turn came the {6-Hearts}. He checked once again and Ponakovs used a time bank before also checking.

The river came the {5-Clubs} and Ponakovs bet 32,000 this time. Petrangelo called, but mucked when Ponakovs turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Royal Flush In The First Level

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Action folded to Michael Addamo in the cutoff who opened for 3,000 and only Timothy Adams made the call on the button.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Addamo bet 1,000 and Adams elected on a raise to 5,500, which Addamo completed. On the {j-Clubs} turn both players checked their options.

Things heated up on the river when Addamo checked to Adams who bet 8,500. After a couple time bank cards were tossed in, Addamo decided on a raise to 115,000. Adams went well in the tank, thinking for several minutes. He counted down his time bank cards and saw he didn't have many left. With time ticking down, Adams eventually tossed in a chip for the call. Addamo rolled over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for a royal flush and best hand possible. Adams mucked and the large pot was sent to Addamo.
