Day 2 Action

The day began with 326 players and it didn't take long for that number to dwindle down to less than half that.

Some of the players who bowed out early in the day include Julien Martini (315th - €3,340), PokerStars ambassador Sam Grafton (314th - €3,340), Nacho Barbero (264th - €3,800) and Andres Korn (256th - €3,800).

2014 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Martin Jacobson had a great run that culminated with him cracking pocket aces with pocket kings when he flopped a king and rivered another one for good measure.

The pivotal hand helped the Swedish Main Event champ, who has also had success on the EPT trail, make a deep run that ended with a 16th place finish for €25,580 when his king-queen couldn't hit against the ace-ten of Jorge Diego Garcia.

Brazil's Jeferson Pinow was eliminated on the final table bubble when his pocket sixes couldn't survive the flip against Isidoro Barrena, who paired his ten on the flop and improved to two pair on the river to eliminate that Brazilian.

Another Brazilian, Andre Akkari, was the next out when the bracelet winner's nines were out-flopped by the Big Slick of Miroslav Alilovic.
