Duarte Takes Four-Way Pot

Four-handed to the {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and with around 8,000 already in the pot, Mathias Duarte bet 3,000 from the big blind and only Vincent Coquil called.

The turn came the {6-Clubs} and Duarte keep up the pressure, throwing in a bet of 5,600. Coquil gave it some thought before tossing his cards into the muck as the Uruguay native has more than doubled his starting stack here through the first two levels.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Iermolcheva opted to check the action back to Hanouadi who slipped out a continuation-bet of 400. After a brief pause, Iermolcheva check-raised to 1,400 total and Hanouadi quickly called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Iermolcheva continued her aggression with a bet of 1,600. This time it was Hanoudis' turn to raise making it 4,600 and Iermolcheva called.

The river came the {3-Spades} and ,with the pot now at 12,800, Iermolcheva opted to check and Hanoudi announced all-in for his remaining stack and Iermolcheva swifty called. Hanouadi showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} but it could not beat Iermolchevas' nut flush with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

This pot sees Ukrainian native Iermolcheva soar up the chip counts with over double starting stack early on in the event.

Hernandez Tries to Take Out Abid Twice

Jorge Aniano Hernandez raised to 600 from the cutoff before Marc Asensio Navarro re-raised to 1,200 in the small blind. From the big blind, Feras Abid moved all in for 1,400 and both players called.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Navarro checked to Hernandez, then folded to a bet of 2,000. Hernandez opened up {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and had the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} of Abid dominated.

The {9-Hearts} turn was safe for Hernandez, but Abid spiked the {7-Spades} on the river to double up.

The next hand, Abid shoved again, this time for 4,400, and was up against Hernandez once more. Abid showed {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Hernandez {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Hernandez hit a pair of fives on the river as Abid ran off to re-enter.
