Bohdanov Wins Big Pot From Sinclair

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

There was around 1,600,000 in the pot on the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} board. Renat Bohdanov was on the button and Jack Sinclair was in the big blind.

Action checked through on the turn.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Sinclair checked to Bohdanov. Bohdanov bet over the size of the pot for 2,000,0000. Sinclair thought about his decision for a bit before making the call. It was no good as Bohdanov showed {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for the backdoor straight to win a big pot from Sinclair. Sinclair mucked his hand.

Bruns Picks Up Aces to Bust Petrov and Break 10 Million

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Bjorn Bruns
Bjorn Bruns

Maksim Petrov opened to 1,000,000 in middle position, leaving about 600,000 behind. Bjorn Bruns jammed in the cutoff, and after taking some time to make a decision with a pay jump near, Petrov called for his remaining chips.

Maksim Petrov: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Bjorn Bruns: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

"That's a good hand," noted a player at the table as Bruns picked up the best starting hand in the game to leave Petrov in rough shape.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to leave Petrov drawing dead on the turn, and Bruns picked up the pot to move up to the 10 million mark and become one of the top stacks in the room.
