Nagygyorgy Doubles Through Toma

Tibor Nagygyorgy raised to 1,800 from under the gun and the action folded to Tsugunari Toma in the small blind who three-bet to 7,000. Alexandre Reard folded his big blind but Nagygyorgy made the call.

The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}, Toma bet 6,000, Nagygyorgy raised it up to 12,000. Toma responded with a reraise to 36,000 for Nagygyorgy to shove for 64,000 which Toma called with the bigger stack.

Toma had flopped two pair but Nagygyorgy hit a set of queens.

Nang Quang Nguyen raised to 1,800 from under the gun and Matas Cimbolas called from the cutoff. Stephen Chidwick re-raised to 7,000 on the button and only got called by Nguyen.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} and Nguyen check-called a bet of 9,000 from Chidwick. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Nguyen checked again. Chidwick made another bet of 12,000 and Nguyen finally released his cards.

Vieira Puts the Pressure on Fast

Joao Vieira raised to 1,700 in the cutoff and Dietrich Fast called on the button. The blinds folded and the dealer spread the flop of {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Both players checked and the {6-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Vieira checked again and Fast threw out a bet of 4,200. Vieira check-raised to 11,000 and Fast stuck around to see the {8-Clubs} on the river. Vieira jammed all in, putting Fast to the test for his remaining 26,000 and change. Fast used one of his time banks but decided to lay his hand down.

Matas Cimbolas was sitting in the tank from under the gun as Thomas Muehloecker was all-in from the middle position for 58,900 in total with the blinds and ante in the middle as they had folded. Cimbolas used two or three time bank cards before making the call with the slightly bigger stack.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} for Cimbolas to pick up some extra outs as he held the nut flush and royal flush draws but the river completed the board with the {5-Diamonds} instead for Muehloecker to double up and leave Cimbolas behind with a mere 300.

With Cimbolas forced all-in in the next hand, he was up against Daniel Rezaei on his right.
