Alain Goldberg
Alain Goldberg

Alain Goldberg pushed for 44,000 from under the gun and Claas Segebrecht went all-in over the top to trigger the following showdown.

Alain Goldberg: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Claas Segebrecht: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Whether or not he had kept the same cards up his sleeves is unknown, but Segebrecht held up once more on the {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs} runout to eliminate the next opponent.

Romero Doubles Through Yankov

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 5,500 in the hijack and Krasimir Yankov three-bet to 17,000 on the button. Alejandro Romero four-bet shoved all in for 65,500 in the small blind which got Adams to fold but Yankov called.

Alejandro Romero: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Krasimir Yankov: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Romero was in great shape to double up and the flop of {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} didn't say otherwise. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Yankov some extra outs but the {6-Spades} on the river bricked out.

Baumann Gets Value From Chisu

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With plenty of chips already in the middle to the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} river, Gaelle Baumann bet 50,000 in the big blind. Some TV cameras got ready to record the action on the table as Danut Chisu was in the tank.

Ultimately, Chisu called but mucked when Baumann tabled the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for a pair of aces to win the very healthy pot.

"Well played Gaelle," fellow Winamax pro Pierre Calamusa said as he had walked over to the table to witness the action.

Schemion Wins with King-High

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jon Kyte and Ole Schemion
Jon Kyte and Ole Schemion

The action folded to Jon Kyte in the small blind who just limped in. Ole Schemion raised to 9,000 from the big blind and Kyte called. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Kyte check-called a bet of 4,500 from Schemion.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and both players checked to the {5-Spades} on the river. Kyte led out with a bet of 9,000 which made Schemion think for a minute. He eventually made the call and Kyte showed {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a missed flush draw. Schemion flipped over {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for just king-high but it was good enough to win the pot.

Margets Busts Kulev with Queens

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jaime Alvarez Jr raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Leo Margets just called in the small blind. Alex Kulev three-bet shoved all in for around 50,000 from the big blind which got Alvarez Jr to fold but prompted a snap-call from Margets.

Alex Kulev: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Leo Margets: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Kulev was unable to connect with the board, sending him home prior to the money bubble.

"Trapping," Alvarez Jr pointed out to Margets, which got a smirk from the Winimax pro.

Quoss Sticks Around Against Spragg

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Fabian Quoss was already at risk and waiting his fate out of the small blind when Benjamin Spragg bet the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop to isolate.

Fabian Quoss: {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Benjamin Spragg: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

"Oh no," joked Spragg as he saw himself trailing. The Brit failed to notch up the final blow as the {7-Clubs} turn and 10d] river were both blanks.

Veyssiere Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a battle big blind versus under the gun, Julien Veyssiere was at risk for 62,000 and he was up against Kazuhiko Yotsushika.

Julien Veyssiere: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop improved Veyssiere and he held onto the lead on the {k-Diamonds} turn, though, Yotsushika piked up an additional gutshot. However, the {2-Hearts} river was of no help and Veyssiere doubled.
