Brewer Busted by Badziakouski

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Before the blinds went up, Chris Brewer got his short stack of about 30,000 in from the hijack and was at risk against Mikita Badziakouski in early position.

Chris Brewer: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Mikita Badziakouski: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Brewer ran into Badziakouski's aces, and although the turn would provide some gutshot outs, the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs} runout kept Badziakouski in front and eliminated Brewer.

Badziakouski Nearly Doubles Through Lefrancois

Level 12 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

With roughly 90,000 in the pot on a {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board, Mikita Badziakouski had bet 83,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself with a single yellow T-1,000 behind. Pascal Lefrancois thought about it and ultimately called.

"Sixes," Badziakouski said as he turned over {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a flopped set.

"That's good enough", Lefrancois replied as his cards went into the muck and Badziakouski collected the pot.

Sam Grafton had checked his big blind and Andras Nemeth bet 30,000 from the button. Grafton used a time bank card before opting to raise to 77,000, keeping 1,000 behind. Nemeth took a second or two before opting to fold.
