Heath Eliminated by Watson

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With roughly 70,000 in the pot on a {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board, Mike Watson was in the small blind and put in enough chips to cover Ben Heath's stack of about 80,000 in the cutoff. Heath thought about it and used several time extensions before putting in the chips.

Ben Heath: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Mike Watson: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {k-Hearts} completed the board and Watson stayed ahead to take the rest of Heath's chips.

Greenwood Out and In

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sam Greenwood got his 1,500 chips in from the hijack, Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 6,500 in the cutoff, and Sirzat Hissou raised to 20,000 in the big blind. Dzivielevski called.

The two players with action checked the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop to the {5-Spades} turn. Dzivielevski bet 12,500 and Hissou called, while both players checked the {q-Spades} river.

Greenwood had {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Hissou showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, but neither hands were good against Dzivielevski's {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two pair. Greenwood then reentered and received a fresh starting stack.

Davies Doubles Through Pardo

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Seth Davies moved all-in for 53,000 in the cutoff and Juan Pardo called in the big blind.

Seth Davies: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Juan Pardo: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} put Davies ahead right away, but he still needed to fade Pardo's better flush outs. The {7-Spades} and {j-Hearts} changed nothing and Davies secured the double.

Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

Sam Greenwood opened to 6,000 on the button, Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet to 21,000 in the small blind, and Greenwood called.

The dealer spread the {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and Dzivielevski check-called for 12,000.

The {9-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Dzivielevski check-called for 30,000.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board and Dzivielevski checked again. Greenwood bet 68,500, leaving himself only 1,500 behind, and Dzivielevski called with about the same stack.

Greenwood showed {k-Spades}{7-Spades} while Dzivielevski tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to take the pot.

Nemeth Doubles Through Kisacikoglu

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} when Orpen Kisacikoglu looked to have put Andras Nemeth all-in from the button for the 102,000 he had behind or so. Nemeth check-called to put his tournament life at risk. Kisacikoglu tabled the {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the missed straight draw for Nemeth to double up with the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the flush.

Adams Ousted by Lefrancois

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pascal Lefrancois opened to 5,500 on the button, Timothy Adams three-bet to 20,000 in the small blind, and Lefrancois called.

The dealer spread the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Adams checked. Lefrancois bet 12,000, Adams moved all-in for 122,500, and Lefrancois called.

Timothy Adams: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Pascal Lefrancois: {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {q-Clubs} turn and {k-Diamonds} river failed to improve Adams and he made his exit, as Lefrancois chipped up to a top stack.
