Mateos Eliminated by Gostisa

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Andras Nemeth raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Rok Gostisa then jammed for 232,000 in the cutoff. Adrian Mateos called all-in for around 170,000 in the big blind and Nemeth pondered about it for a short while only, then folded with the words "ace jack of hearts".

Adrian Mateos: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Rok Gostisa: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board gave Gostisa the flush and Mateos was sent to the rail.

Double Ups for Dzivielevski and O'Dwyer

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski

Byron Kaverman raised to 22,000 and Steve O'Dwyer called from one seat over. Yuri Dzivielevski then jammed for 95,000 and Kaverman folded while O'Dwyer called.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The flip went to the Brazilian thanks to the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board.

However, O'Dwyer not only recovered the losses but doubled through Reza Tabatabai to more than make up for it. On a heads-up turn of {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}, he checked in the hijack and then called a bet worth 60,000 by Tabatabai on the button.

The {j-Hearts} on the river brought the shove by O'Dwyer and Tabatabai instantly called.

"I have a full house," O'Dwyer declared and tabled the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Tabatabai had the inferior full house in {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and took yet another hit to his stack.

Nemeth Soars to a Big Stack

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Marius Gierse

"Oh my god, what have I done," one flip and you have become a monster again. Those were the words of Rok Gostisa and they were directed at Andras Nemeth, who was responsible for two eliminations in quick succession.

Marius Gierse lost a flip with {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} against the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} of the Hungarian on the {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} board and Juan Pardo followed right after to reduce the field to the final 18 contenders.

Dvoress Takes the Lead After Beating Tabatabai in Showdown

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On the tail end of a medium-sized pot between Daniel Dvoress and Reza Tabatabai, the board showed {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Tabatabai check-called a bet worth 120,000 and Dvoress announced a seven before flipping over the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} as the winning hand.

The cards of Tabatabai were also exposed as he flashed the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} before paying off his opponent.

Nemeth Doubles; Thorel Gets Short

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Rok Gostisa three-bet jammed out of the blinds and was called by Andras Nemeth as the latter was flipping for his last 244,000.

Andras Nemeth: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Rok Gostisa: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Following the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} board, Nemeth got there eventually and Sergi Reixach joked "if you lose that one, you don't play poker anymore".

Jean-Noel Thorel then thee-bet and folded to a shove by Marius Gierse to get shorter.

Gierse Tank-Calls the River

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised to 20,000 from the button and both Marius Gierse and Sergi Reixach made the call from the blinds.

They all checked through the {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to the {9-Spades}, Gierse bet 35,000 for only Reixach to make the call.

The river completed the board with the {5-Hearts}, Gierse checked again for the last time. Reixach fired a bet of 125,000 out for Gierse to tank for a while before reluctantly making the call. Reixach showed the {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the rivered two pair and the pot as Gierse mucked his hand.

Mateos Doubles Through Tabatabai; Doubles Dzivielevski

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Reza Tabatabai made it 30,000 to go and then called the shove by Adrian Mateos for 118,000 from one seat over.

Adrian Mateos: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Reza Tabatabai: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop changed nothing yet but the {7-Spades} turn gave Tabatabai a gutshot to go with his one overcard. However, another blank followed thereafter with the {3-Spades} river and Mateos doubled.

Soon after, Yuri Dzivielevski pushed on the button for 96,000 and Mateos eventually called within the 30-second shot clock.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Dzivielevski immediately hit a set on the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and the {k-Hearts} turn confirmed his double-up, which made the {6-Spades} river a formality.
