Petrangelo Puts Pressure on Kisacikoglu

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu had 3,000 in front of him on the button while Nick Petrangelo had a bet of 25,500 showing in the big blind. Kisacikoglu was in the tank and then reraised to 60,000 which Petrangelo called.

They both checked through the {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop to the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Petrangelo used a time bank card before betting 61,500 which Petrangelo called after a while.

The river completed the board with the {5-Hearts}, Petrangelo continued with a bet of 83,000 while the rest of the field went for their break. Kisacikoglu considered it but opted to let his hand go in the end.

Marius Gierse raised it up from the hijack and Sam Greenwood three-bet to 20,000 out of the small blind. Gierse replied with a four-bet to 40,000 and Greenwood called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Greenwood checked to Gierse who bet 18,000. Greenwood used a time bank and then check-raised to 55,000 which Gierse quickly called.

The board read {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} with around 50,000 in the middle.

Seth Davies had checked in the middle position but Juan Pardo bet 35,000 from the cutoff. Davies confirmed the amount before making the call.

The river completed the board with the {k-Diamonds} and Davies checked again. Pardo took some time and then shoved for 70,000. Davies glanced at his cards once more, looked at his own stack, then put in some chips for the call.

Pardo tabled the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the flopped set for Davies to try and throw his cards into the muck. The dealer retrieved them and revealed the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for two pair.
