Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

After losing a couple of pots to Sam Grafton, Adrian Mateos was not about to shy away from his aggressive style. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 35,000 on the button and Mateos stuck in a three-bet to 145,000.

Vaskaboinikau counted out his entire stack and used one of his time banks before sliding out a four-bet to 385,000. Mateos instantly flicked his cards to the muck and Vaskaboinikau took down the pot.

Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Adrian Mateos raised to 32,000 on the button and Sam Greenwood called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Greenwood checked to Mateos who bet 22,000. Greenwood check-raised to 50,000 and Mateos jammed all in. Greenwood called off his tack of 143,000 and the cards were face up.

Sam Greenwood: {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Adrian Mateos: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Greenwood flopped top pair but it was no match for Mateos' aces. The {q-Clubs} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river sealed Greenwood's fate who exited the tournament area.

Bujtas Reaches the One-Million Mark

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

Kent Staahle had raised from under the gun and Laszlo Bujtas defended his big blind when the action was folded to him.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Bujtas bet 35,000 for Staahle to respond with a raise to 85,000 which Bujtas called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Bujtas slowed down by checking. Staahle fired a bet of 110,000 out and got the call.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board for two pair on the table. Bujtas checked for the final time and Staahle barreled a bet of 125,000 out. Bujtas considered it for a bit and then called.

"I was bluffing," Staahle admitted before showing the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

"My favorite hand, I can't fold," Bujtas replied before turning over the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for the higher two pair than on the board to scoop the pot.

Vogelsang Wins with a Check-Raise

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folded to Christoph Vogelsang in the small blind who just limped in. Marius Gierse checked his option and the dealer spread the flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Both players checked and the {j-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Vogelsang checked again and Gierse tossed in a bet of 45,000. Vogelsang called and the {4-Diamonds} completed the board. Vogelsang checked once more and Gierse counted out a bet of 150,000. Vogelsang went into the tank before pushing out a raise to 425,000. Gierse quickly mucked his cards and Vogelsang dragged in the pot.

Timely Double for Kisacikoglu

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

It was Joao Vieira and Orpen Kisacikoglu heads-up in the blinds and surprisingly not all of the chips went in the middle preflop. While the pot was already large with the flop reading {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Kisacikoglu still had 47,000 chips remaining. The two players quickly got the rest in on the flop.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Joao Vieira: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Kisacikoglu flopped a set of queens but Vieira had a few straight outs. The {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river was not enough for Vieira who passed over a double up.
