Spraggy Pushing the Pace After Dinner

Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg opened the action from middle position, and was called by both Wuai-Cheng Tsang in the cutoff and Ricardo Silva in the big blind.

The flop of Q♣6♣10♠ was checked by all players.

Action began on the Q♠ turn. Silva checked, and Spraggy bet 6,500, which was called by Tsang but Silva let his hand go.

On the river, the 4♣ hit, prompting Spraggy to fire once more. This time it was for 13,500, and Tsang eventually called after some deliberation. He mucked his hand after he saw the bad news, as the PokerStars Pro tabled A♠10♦.

The opponent bet 7,500 on the river and Kachlisivi sat still before raising all in for 30,300. The opponent called with a bigger stack.

Kachlisivi tabled A♥3♥ for a wheel to win the pot as his opponent was forced to show a no-good two pair with 5♦2♥.

Pedro Cavalieri moved all in from the button for his last 8,500 and Maciej Gut, who covered Cavalieri very slightly, made the call.

The board ran out 8♥10♣7♣J♥5♣. Cavalieri had flopped two pair and by the turn Gut was drawing dead, resulting in him being reduced to exactly one big blind while Cavalieri received a crucial double up.

Gut would be eliminated in a preflop confrontation the next hand.

Cesaro Puts Colillas in a Tough Spot

The pot stood at approximately 10,000 with two players looking at a board that read 10♠2♣A♣10♦. Ramon Colillas, in the big blind, bet out 6,500. Alessio Di Cesaro, in middle position, called.

The river fell the 6♥ and Colillas bet again, this time for 16,000. Cesaro moved all in for 45,500 and Colillas went into the tank.

Colillas eventually chose to fold. Cesaro won this pot without a showdown.

With the board reading 2♥6♣10♣5♥A♦ and about 25,000 in the pot, Stefano Lolli checked from the big blind and was faced with a 21,000 bet from Thibault Tiersonnier on the button.

After about a minute of thought Lolli called and Tiersonnier tabled A♠6♦ for a rivered two pair. Lolli's hand hit the muck and Tiersonnier collected a sizable pot.

El Mechraa Gets River Shove Through

Hamed El Mechraa opened to 3,000 from the hijack. Seated next to him in the cutoff was Andreas Berggren, who raised it to 9,000 and got called.

The flop came 9♣8♠4♥, and El Mechraa check-called a 6,300 bet from Berggren.

It was the Moroccan who then took the initiative in the hand as he led out for 12,000 on a 6♣ turn. Berggren called.

The river was the 10♣. El Mechraa thought for a minute before announcing that he was all in. After staring El Mechraa down a few times, Berggren made the fold.
