Duarte Shoves the River in Massive Pot Against Orpaz

Action folded to Mathias Duarte who limped in from the small blind. "No more friends," Tom Orpaz said as he raised to 90,000.

Duarte called to see the 6♣Q♠3♥ flop, where Orpaz continued for 75,000. Duarte then came back with a raise to 200,000, Orpaz reraised to 450,000, and Duarte called.

Both players checked the 6♥ turn as the 10♣ fell on the river. Duarte then moved all in for around 700,000 and Orpaz shook his head before folding.

Zhou Leaves Duarte Frustrated on the River

Mathias Duarte raised to 75,000 from under the gun and Quan Zhou defended his big blind.

The flop came A♣K♠Q♥ and Duarte continued for 30,000. Zhou called, then called another 75,000 on the 8♣ turn.

The 9♣ fell on the river and Zhou checked again. Duarte then checked back and Zhou turned over K♣7♣ for a rivered flush. Duarte let out a loud sigh before he mucked.

Kropmanns Folds to Duarte, Still Makes Money

Before the hand, Ramon Kropmanns went to claim one of his mystery bounty chips and took the envelope back to the table as the cards were being dealt.

He raised to 55,000 before Mathias Duarte, on the button, three-bet to 130,000. Kropmanns used one of his time banks before folding.

Kropmanns then opened his envelope, exposing the first €50,000 top mystery bounty prize to be claimed.

"Now I can play," he joked.

Beresford Gets One Three-Bet Through, Folds to Orpaz After Another

Mathias Duarte raised to 50,000 from under the gun before Conor Beresford made it 140,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Duarte, who gave up his hand.

The next hand, Tom Orpaz raised to 55,000 and Beresford again three-bet, this time to 155,000. Orpaz called and they went heads-up to the 8♦2♦8♠ flop.

Both players checked to the 4♣ turn, where Orpaz led out for 150,000. Beresford took a last look at his cards before mucking.

Kennedy Bets Out Kropmanns; Orpaz Having a Good Time

Action folded to Patrick Kennedy in the small blind who raised to 60,000. Ramon Kropmanns used a time bank in the big blind before calling as they went to the 2♥6♠2♠ flop.

Kennedy continued for 40,000 and Kropmanns again called. The turn came the Q♦ and Kennedy bet 110,000 this time. Kropmanns quickly folded.

After the hand, Tom Orpaz went around the table introducing himself to each of his opponents.

"Nice to meet you, Tom," Kennedy told him.

"It's the middle of the week. We're having fun. We're all lucky," Orpaz replied.
