Song Can't Call

Ezequiel Waigel opened to 30,000 first-to-act and was called by Stephen Song in the big blind.

Song check-called an 18,000 bet from Waigel on the A♣3♣5♣ flop and then both players checked on the 4♠ turn.

Song checked again when the 10♣ completed the board and Waigel bet 105,000, which was nearly enough to put Song all in.

Song used up a time extension pondering his decision but eventually decided to lay his hand down.

"It would have been an ambitious call," Song said as Waigel collected the pot.
