Majid Nadeem: A♣Q♣
Antonio Battaglia: A♠K♥
Battaglia had Nadeem dominated, but the 7♦Q♠8♠ flop vaulted Nadeem into the lead after pairing his queen.
The 3♥ turn changed nothing, but the dealer brought the K♦ on the river — putting Battaglia back on top with a pair of kings and eliminating Nadeem from the tournament.

In a hand that lasted more than 10 minutes, Igor Pihela Jr opened to 800 from under the gun, and was called by Gab Yong Kim in middle position. In the cutoff, Maria Ho chose to three-bet to 2,800. But Markkos Ladev on the button wasn't done yet, and he four-bet to 5,600. Pihela and Kim folded at this point, while Ho made the call.
The dealer fanned a flop of A♣4♠J♥, Ho checked and saw Ladev bet 2,500. She called, then check-called again when Ladev fired a second barrel of 4,500 on the turn A♥.
The 4♥ landed on the river, and Ho checked a third time. But after Ladev bet 6,000, she raised to 13,000. Ladev took a few seconds to think about it, but eventually folded.

The flop of 6♦2♥7♠ checked through and Martini bet 2,100 when checked to on the Q♣ turn. Only Mohamad El-Rais called out of the small blind.
El-Rais checked again on the 9♠ turn and Martini fired a bet of 5,800. El-Rais called and showed A♥Q♠ for a pair of queens, which would good against the underpair of Maritni with 5♣5♠.
Ismet Oral was out of position in a heads-up pot against Yaman Nakdali on a board of A♠6♥Q♦7♣.
Oral bet 7,000 on the turn and Nakdali called. Oral then checked on the 2♣ river and Nakdali checked back. Oral showed K♥6♦ for a pair of sixes, but it was no good against the pair of queens of his opponent with K♣Q♥.
