Grafton Only Looks at One

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

"Go ahead, Tim. Come for this one. I'll three-bet out of principle," Sam Grafton told Timothy Adams as he posted his big blind. Adams ended up folding under the gun. "Psychological warfare," Grafton added.

Action folded to Tom Orpaz who called blind and Grafton checked without looking. Orpaz checked in the dark heading to the 833 flop. "I only looked at one," Grafton said as he fired out 2,000.

Orpaz peeked at one of his cards before calling to the 6 turn, where he check-called another bet of 6,000. The river came the K and Grafton then bet 30,000.

Orpaz then flashed the 5 and mucked. "This is the first card I looked at," Grafton said, showing the 3 as he took the pot heading into break.

Heads-up on a flop of 453, Tom Orpaz bet 5,000 from the cutoff and Timothy Adams called in the big blind.

The turn came the 8 and Orpaz bet another 11,000. Adams again called to see the 2 river, where he led out for 35,000.

"The magic card for you. Look at this guy. Anything but a deuce," Orpaz said as he mucked. Adams then showed the 3 as he took the pot.

"Three is winning. I had ace-high. You were bluffing with the best hand," Orpaz added.

Max Pressure from Klein

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Morten Klein opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Conor Beresford defended his big blind.

Beresford checked the 945 flop and Klein bet 3,000. Beresford put in a check-raise to 11,500 and Klein made the call.

The turn came the J and Beresford bet 30,500. Klein called.

On the K river Beresford bet 23,000 only for Klein to raise it to 110,000, sending Beresford into the tank.

After using two time extension chips Beresford slid his cards into the muck allowing Klein to take down a healthy pot without showdown.
