Baltateanu Bets the River, Interrogates Rodriguez

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Silviu Baltateanu bet 60,000 from the button on a flop of 8108 and Diego Rodriguez called under the gun.

Both players checked the 10 turn and Rodriguez also checked the Q river. Baltateanu then bet another 100,000.

Baltateanu called the clock on Rodriguez after only a few seconds, and the floor ruled Rodriguez should be given more time.

"I've never called time in my life," Baltateanu told Rodriguez, who continued to ponder the decision for another minute.

"What do you have? Thinking all in? Thinking fold," Baltateanu asked as he interrogated Rodriguez. Rodriguez eventually slid his cards into the muck.

"I'll show one time, for you," Baltateanu said as he hovered his cards over the table. Rodriguez shook his head and Baltateanu returned his cards face down.

Marcin Dziubdziela has built up a stack of more than 1,000,000 at this table, while Anthony Khouzami is also at this table with an above-average stack.

From middle position, Ankit Ahuja opened to 20,000, and was called by Ran Azor in the cutoff. But on the button, Frank Habermann raised all in for 147,000. In the big blind, Florian Guimond called, and made Ahuja and Azor fold.

Frank Habermann: AK
Florian Guimond: JJ

On 747KQ, Habermann hit a king on the turn to double up. Down to 64,000 chips, Guimond three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind after Andrei Bocharnikov opened in middle position. Bocharnikov four-bet all in to force Guimond to go all in with his 4,000 last chips.

"I'll wait a few minutes for the pay jump, one elimination is needed," said the Frenchman. He waited four or five minutes. But as there were no eliminations, he eventually called.

Florian Guimond: A8
Andrei Bocharnikov: AK

The dealer fanned a board of 59449. Thanks to a second pair on the river, Guimond was saved by a split.
