Yaghmai Raises On the River

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nariman Yaghmai opened to 4,500 from early position, and he was called by Cecile Ticherfatine in the big blind.

Yaghmai bet 3,500 on the flop 10310, and Ticherfatine check-called. But on the turn 7, both players checked.

The 10 landed on the river, and Ticherfatine took the lead, betting 7,000. But Yaghmai decided to raise to 35,000. Ticherfatine had to use a time bank to make a decision, but she eventually folded before going on a break.

Talbot Puzzled After Card Reveal

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Milos Petakovic opened from under the gun and Parker Talbot defended the big blind, creating a pot of roughly 15,000 chips. The 7Q10 flop saw Talbot check before Petakovic made a continuation-bet of 4,000. Talbot then raised to 19,500 and Petakovic called.

The K saw Talbot revert to a check, and Petakovic now fired 40,000 chips. Talbot groaned while he folded and Petakovic let his opponent pick one card to show. Talbot picked the 9, after which he claimed to have the jack of clubs himself, leading to a lot of speculation about the holding of Petakovic on the table.
