Wiciak Getting Aggressive Near the Bubble

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Four players saw a flop of 8Q3 where Fabrice Bigot bet 9,000 in the cutoff. Simon Wiciak called on the button, as did big blind Halil Tasyurek.

The turn came the 4 and action checked to Wiciak, who fired out 25,000. Both Tasyurek and Bigot quickly gave up their hands.

The next hand, Bigot raised to 6,000 before Wiciak three-bet to 25,000. Jon Vallinas in the big blind tanked for a minute before mucking, while Bigot snap-folded as Wiciak took down another pot.

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Action folded to Anton Wigg in the small blind who raised to 10,000. Alejandro Lococo then moved all in for 55,000 in the big blind and Wigg snap-called.

Alejandro Lococo: K10
Anton Wigg: QQ

Lococo had run into queens and was at serious risk of falling short of the money as the flop came 10J3, giving him some hope with a pair of tens. The 7 turn was no help, and neither was the 6 river as the Team PokerStars Pro made a quick exit from the tournament area less than 10 spots from the money bubble.

Shuang Luo
Shuang Luo

Shuang Luo open-raised from under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 18,000 from Metin Yalciner in the next seat over. The action folded back to Luo, who put out a four-bet of 56,000, which Yalciner eventually called.

The flop of 889 then saw Luo make a continuation-bet of 41,000 and Yalciner matched the bet. On the 8 turn, Luo inquired after her opponent's stack, which was 90,500. She then went all in with the covering stack and Yalciner snap-called.

Metin Yalciner: AA
Shuang Luo: 22

"I think you win," Luo claimed. She was right, as the A river upgraded Yalciner to a full house. He raked in a massive pot and obtained a big stack with the bubble fast approaching.
