Fabrice Bigot opened to 35,000 on the button and Mario Trattou defended his big blind.
Trattou check-called for 25,000 on the A♦7♣4♠ flop before the 6♠ turn checked through to the 3♠ river. Trattou bet 75,000 and Bigot quickly called. Trattou had a straight with his 6♥5♠ and Bigot mucked.
The following hand, Timur Vardanian opened to 30,000 from early position. Bigot called from the cutoff and Alessandro Minasi did the same from the button. Trattou then jammed for 445,000 from the small blind which folded out his opponents.
Trattou has enjoyed quite the return to live poker over the last few months after disappearing from the scene for the best part of eight years.
The COVID pandemic reignited his passion for the game having started playing online poker once again and has recently reentered the live poker streets.
Trattou booked the biggest win of his live career earlier this month, having won a €3,000 buy-in event in Malta for €93,000.

Fabio Peluso was all in for around 60,000 from the big blind against under-the-gun opponent Mustafa Biz.
Fabio Peluso: A♦6♠
Mustafa Biz: A♠7♠
Peluso was dominated but took the lead as the flop landed 6♦Q♠5♦. The 8♥ gave Biz additional outs with a straight draw, but the 8♦ river bricked off to earn Peluso the double.

With around 300,000 already in the middle on a board of 8♠7♥2♦10♦, [Removed:553] bet 190,000 from the cutoff and Ricardo Tannoury called in the big blind.
The river came the 2♣ and Tannoury checked over to Simon, who announced he was all in.
Tannoury had around 800,000 remaining and used four time banks as he tanked for more than two minutes before flicking in a chip to signify a call. Simon then turned over J♠J♦, while Tannoury could only show 10♠9♠ for a pair of tens.
Simon knocked over Casimir Seire's gin and tonic as he celebrated winning the massive pot to send Tannoury to the rail. "I know it was an exciting pot, but come on. I'm all wet now," Seire said as he ordered another soda water.
"We have a new chip leader now," tablemate Mekan Yusupov said. Simon also knocked out Maduka Meragal at this table earlier in the day as he moved up to around 3,000,000.

Andreas Tomazou was in the small blind and dropped in a single 25,000-chip before being informed his action would count as a call. Fabio Peluso checked his option in the big blind.
"Very lucky for you," said Tomazou.
"Maybe you," laughed Peluso.
Tomazou checked on the flop of 6♠10♣10♦ and Peluso checked back. Tomazou checked again on the 2♦ turn and Peluso bet 30,000. Tomazou called.
The 7♣ river completed the board and Tomazou moved all in for 185,000. Peluso took some time and called with a bigger stack. Tomazou showed J♥10♠ for flopped trips to beat out the 8♣7♦ of Peluso.
"Lucky river for me," said Tomazou.

Nicolas Chouity raised to 30,000 in middle position before Ilya Pavlov stuck in his last 50,000 from the hijack. Andrei Vavilonskii called on the button.
Chouity then asked Vavilonskii how much he had behind before reraising to 175,000. Vavilonskii got out of the way.
Ilya Pavlov: 9♦9♣
Nicolas Chouity: A♠A♥
Pavlov had run into Chouity's aces but picked up a straight draw on the Q♣10♣2♦J♠ board. The river, though, was an unhelpful 5♠ and Pavlov was sent to the rail.

Milos Skrbic opened to 30,000 from the button. Siarhei Chudapal and Priit Parmasto called from the blinds.
Action checked to Skrbic on the A♦7♥6♣ flop, and he fired out 20,000. Chudapal folded quickly while Parmasto thought it over for a little longer before conceding the pot.
Skrbic tabled his A♣A♠ to show he had flopped top set, which received a few laughs from the table.
Parmasto seemed relieved as he stated to the table that he thought of raising on the flop to then jam on the turn. Skrbic jokingly asked why he didn't follow through with the plan.

Fabio Peluso opened to 30,000 from middle position and Victor Yugay three-bet to 80,000 from the small blind. Julien Montois four-bet shoved for 800,000 in the big blind, covering both players. Peluso got out of the way while Yugay called off with his 385,000 stack to put himself at risk.
Victor Yugay: A♦A♥
Julien Montois: J♦J♥
Montois was in bad shape with a lower pocket pair and the A♠Q♣2♦ flop left him drawing close to dead after Yugay flopped top set. The 8♣Q♣ turn and river changed nothing and Yugay collected a full double up, effectively swapping stack sizes with Montois.

[Removed:553] opened to 30,000 from the hijack and Kenny Hallaert defended his big blind.
Hallaert check-called bets of 35,000 and 65,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read Q♥J♣4♥A♥J♠. Both players checked the river through to showdown.
Hallaert tabled 10♣10♥ for a pair of tens but Simon had kings with his K♥K♣ which was good to claim the pot.

Heads-up in a blind versus blind pot, Mario Trattou led out for 15,000 on the 6♠3♠4♥ flop and Yannick Schumacher raised to 65,000.
Trattou called to see the 7♦ turn, where Schumacher bet another 55,000. Trattou again called and the K♥ fell on the river.
Trattou then fired out 90,000 and Schumacher burned through several time banks before calling. Trattou turned over 9♥8♥ for a missed straight draw, while Schumacher took the pot with 10♥7♠ for a pair of sevens.
At another table, Aleksandr Faterin, Ricardo Tannoury, and Timur Vardanian built a pot of around 380,000 heading to the turn on a board of 10♠2♦A♣4♥.
Vardanian then bet 85,000 from the button and Faterin called under the gun, while Tannoury folded in middle position. The river came the 7♣ and Faterin checked over to Vardanian, who this time checked behind.
Faterin showed K♣Q♥, but Vardanian had A♦J♠ for a pair of aces as he shot out of his seat and let out a big fist pump as the massive pot was pushed in his direction.
